Once you find downtown Reed City Wright's is easy to spot with it's neon coffee signs. All the basic baked goods you could want and throw in a Sponge Bob cookie if you please. I got an americano espresso with a couple date cookies-- one plain sugar and the other oatmeal. My coffee was just right with one shot. The sugar one was a bit stale but the oatmeal one was oh-my-goodness good. Moist and delicious-- I should have got two at least. Oh well, I have a plan for next time I'm in the area. *wink* Ps. They have a clean bathroom if needed. A handy amenity if your on a road trip sometimes.

Wright's is one of the best bakeries I have ever had the pleasure of setting foot in. I have yet to find an item there that I did not enjoy. I would have to say my favorite is their "Fried Cinnamon" which more or less is a gigantic cinnamon roll covered in some kind of almond frosting and nuts. If I ever get in a situation where I am granted a last meal, this is dessert. Their artisan breads and pies are to die for and the staff is always great. If you are in Michigan heading north on 131, it is only 3 minutes off the Reed City exit. Don't be one of those people...turn your car off the road and go!!

One of the best bakeries! They're so nice and friendly when you go in there. I would always get their fried cinnamon donuts. I don't even know how to describe how good they are! They also serve coffee and have different types of sauces and salsas there.

Ahhh! Donuts! In the never ending search for bigger & better donuts we found this place. Again we went several miles out of our way to get to a place with excellent Yelp reviews. I had a cherry fritter and my wife had a sugar twist. Fresh and tasty. Coffee was excellent also. Clean place and friendly staff.

I have been to every bakery in the Big Rapids area looking for real baked goods that aren't just a pile of sugar. Sure, Wright's has the sugary stuff, but they actually have bread and croissants and rolls, too. I got a loaf of rye bread and some day-old ciabatta buns. My aunt and grandma get the cherry nut bread and the cinnamon raisin regularly. Everything is delicious. I also tried an apple fritter, which was good. They are a bit on the expensive side, even for artisan bread. I think my rye loaf was about $7. I actually don't mind at this point because I've been desperate for some decent bread. I was able to find some good bread in GR at the Downtown Market building, but that was $6.50, so I'm thinking that expensive bread is the norm in Michigan. I'm used to paying $5/loaf of organic artisan bread, but maybe if demand increases, prices will drop here. I will definitely be back to Wright's for another loaf of bread and to try this "fried cinnamon" that everyone is talking about. And I am forever grateful that they bake something other than a cupcake or donut!!!

Fried cinnamon and lattes are a great way to start the day. Only a few minutes from the interstate. Worth the stop.

I love Wright's. Yes it is more expensive than the average super market, but it is right in line and some items cheaper than other bakery & coffee houses. We get bread and a treat every week.

I was biking through Reed City, and thought this was a fantastic place to stop for a bite to eat. Not only did I fill up on coffee and excellent baked goods for a very reasonable price, but I grabbed a pasty and some dinner rolls for later; both were great. And on top of that, the people were great. Highly recommended!
